The purpose of this Recruitment Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy (“Policy”) is to establish requirements for candidates and to inform candidates of Varsity Brands’ use of Artificial Intelligence during the recruiting process. As used in this Policy, “Artificial Intelligence” is defined as computer systems, computer programs and/or machines that are programed to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as analyzing, learning, creating, and problem solving. Examples of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) tools are ChatGPT, CoPilot and Gemini, and applicant tracking systems.
Candidate Use
Candidates for employment positions with Varsity Brands (including all Varsity Brands subsidiary and affiliated companies) must be accurate and truthful throughout the recruitment process. Tools (including AI) may be used to format or assist you, but you cannot use these tools to misrepresent your skills and experience. No tools (including AI) are permitted to be used for plagiarism or misrepresentations of skills and experience to respond to interview questions, draft or edit writing samples, while participating in live recruiter screenings, or during interviews.
Candidates’ recording any part of the recruiting process and candidates’ use of third-party resources (e.g., communicating with another person) during the screening and interviewing process is not permitted, except where required as a reasonable accommodation or otherwise permitted by law.
